On Monday, 25 May 2026, the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sineewanlaya Wichit, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Networking Development and Student Affairs, welcomed delegates from the School of Public Health, Lanzhou University (LZU), People’s Republic of China, at METI School, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
On this occasion, the delegation from the School of Public Health, LZU, led by Prof. Junling Wang, Dean, School of Public Health, together with Assoc. Prof. Xiaohui Wang, Director, Department of Health Policy and Management, School of Public Health, and Ms. Ning Qiao, Office Director, School of Public Health, joined discussions and exchanged views on future collaboration opportunities between the two institutions. The discussion covered several areas of potential cooperation, including academic collaboration, student and staff exchange programs, joint research initiatives, as well as the shared use of laboratory facilities to support research and academic development.
In addition, the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, together with the School of Public Health, LZU, organized the “MUGR x LZU: Lanzhou University Global Talent Recruitment Session for Chinese Students at Mahidol University,” during which representatives from the School of Public Health, LZU, presented information on Research and Postdoctoral Opportunities at LZU and engaged with Chinese students currently studying at Mahidol University through discussions and exchanges on the topic.
The discussion and activities marked another important step in strengthening academic and research collaboration between Mahidol University and Lanzhou University at the international level.
