On Thursday, 8 January 2026, the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, led by Prof. Dr. Chartchalerm Isarankura-Na-Ayudhya, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Sineewanlaya Wichit, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Networking Development and Student Affairs, hosted an online meeting with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Liu Li from the School of Advanced Engineering, Great Bay University, People’s Republic of China, to discuss potential directions and opportunities for academic collaboration between the two institutions.
The meeting focused on exchanging views on various forms of cooperation, including Joint Research Collaboration and Student Mobility, with particular emphasis on Medical Robotics, Medical Engineering, and Advanced Medical Technologies. These areas represent shared academic and research interests of both institutions, and the discussion is expected to serve as a starting point for expanding future academic and research collaboration across additional disciplines.
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn and Dr. Shen Treratanakulchai from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and the Center for Biomedical and Robotics Technology (BART LAB), Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, also participated in the meeting to engage in research discussions, exchange perspectives, and provide constructive recommendations to support the development of future collaboration.
