On Saturday, May 30, 2026, the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University, organized the “MUGR Webinar: Management of Stress During ‘Thesis Time’” via Zoom Meeting. The webinar was conducted as part of the Share & Learn session for postgraduate students, aiming to promote mental well-being and provide practical strategies for coping with stress throughout the thesis journey.
On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Sineewanlaya Wichit, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Networking Development and Student Affairs, delivered the opening remarks.
The session was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Supapak Phetrasuwan from the Department of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, who shared valuable insights and practical approaches to understanding stress, recognizing its effects on academic performance and personal well-being, and maintaining a healthy balance throughout postgraduate studies.
Key topics included common sources of stress among graduate students during thesis preparation, effective stress management techniques, time management strategies, emotional resilience, and methods for sustaining motivation throughout the research process. Participants also learned practical tools for coping with academic pressure and promoting positive mental well-being during their studies.
This webinar provided a valuable opportunity for postgraduate students to gain a deeper understanding of stress management and develop essential skills for maintaining well-being throughout their thesis journey. The session attracted approximately 100 participants from various disciplines across Mahidol University.
